Mechanism of Antibacterial Deodorization
The titanium compounds sprayed onto the coated surface (material) physically bond to the unevenness (pinholes) and chemically bond with the hydrophilic groups (OH groups) on the surface of the material, and condensation occurs on the adhered titanium compounds due to evaporation of the solvent. A strong, porous, inorganic polymer thin film (0.05-0.5 µm non-bonded body) is formed on the adhered titanium compound.
